Moved! Whew!
So I moved this weekend. I rented a van from Budget, and my truly awesome friends came over on Saturday morning to shlep my stuff.
Here are some moving tips that I learned this weekend:
-don't have six vodka drinks the night before you move. I was in a world of hurt even before I started moving on Saturday morning.
-if you're going to donate some items to the Amvets box, and keep other items, put them in separate, different-looking bags. I hope the veterans enjoy my brown and cream fluffy Target comforter. (sniffle..) P.S. Bed Bath and Beyond, your comforter colors are fug.
Anyways moving the big stuff didn't take long at all, thanks to Provalone, Belle and Citizen Payne. They truly rule. Then yesterday I did the smaller stuff and cleaned the old casa, only taking a break to go see Resident Evil: Extinction. (Oh no Ashanti! Watch out for da boids! Them are EEEEEVIIIIL!)
My new neighborhood is a leetle bit noisy, and we have a skunk. Also, I'm dumb: yesterday everyone was putting stuff out on the curb for bulk trash removal day, and the woman accross the street put a bike out. I was like, 'huh, I should grab that bike. Meh, I'll go get groceries first.' When I returned, it was gone.
